An LED light strip remote not working does not always mean the remote is defective. In many cases, the problem comes from a discharged battery, incorrect pairing, blocked infrared signal, incompatible controller, wrong wiring, or unstable power supply.

An LED light strip always on blinking usually indicates unstable power delivery, incorrect voltage, controller incompatibility, voltage drop, or a weak electrical connection.
